What does InSports mean to you?
Playing sports can be expensive. I can understand how it would be pushed to the bottom of a priority list. However, the benefit that kids get from being on a team, being active and growing as an individual is priceless. I love that I can be a part of a foundation that helps kids reach their fullest potential.
What sports did you play growing up?
Growing up I played softball and volleyball. As I got older, I was on the dance team and golfed more.
How do you stay active?
Now I ride my bike a lot, run and do yoga.
Who is your all time hero in athletics?
Bethany Hamilton because surfing is difficult and she had the determination to excel in it with only one arm.
What is your favorite movie?
If you could have dinner with three people, past or present, who would it be and why?
Theodore Roosevelt because he was very determined and innovative for his time. Cheryl Strayed because she's my favorite author and Michael Jordan because who doesn't want to meet Michael Jordan!
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Tacos, no doubt
Name one thing people would be surprised to know about you.
I cannot rollerblade. I have tried and wiped out many, many times and haven't gotten the hang of it. I'll keep trying though :)
Which InSports event are you looking forward to this summer?
The golf tournament in August!
