![]() By Samantha Romero “Give To The Max Day” is one of the first 24 hour events aimed to inspire and encourage charitable donations. Created by GiveMN in 2009, Give To The Max Day has experienced increasing donations with each consecutive year. In 2014 Minnesota raised a record breaking 18 million dollars for schools and nonprofit organizations. There are over 62,000 donors and 5,500 organizations that participate in the event, but the numbers keep growing. This year, InSports Foundation will be participating for the first time. We are tremendously excited to fundraise on this special day. As a nonprofit organization, we want to get the word out for this great Minnesota get together. You can support InSports Foundation and Give to the Max Day by donating on this day. There is also an option to become an ongoing donor and continue to support our organization. This year, Give to the Max Day will begin accepting donations starting November 1st and run through November 12th! Check out our Give to the Max Page HERE ![]() MOORHEAD, Minn. (10/13/15)--The Concordia football team and the InSports foundation are proud to announce that Saturday’s home game with Augsburg will feature an equipment drive which will provide kids in the Fargo-Moorhead area an opportunity to get “in” the game. Fans coming to the Concordia football game on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 1 p.m. against Augsburg can bring new and gently used sports equipment and drop them off at the gates where volunteers will collect them for distribution to the area. All the equipment collected at the game will go to children to help offset the cost of playing sports. The InSports Foundation offers camps, scholarships and equipment for deserving kids to help defray the costs of participating in youth sports. The InSports foundation's goal is to help 10,000 kids in three years. To date the foundation has impacted over 3,000 kids through scholarships, camps and fundraising. The idea of the foundation started three years ago and the InSports officially became a non-profit organization in 2014. Last year the foundation raised over $10,000 for other teams and individuals through apparel fundraisers. In all the foundation has raised over $100,000 through other fundraising events and apparel sales. Some of the other programs that the InSports Foundation has put on include InSports days at Concordia College and with Minnesota United FC, play-it-forward events with the Concordia men’s hockey and women’s soccer teams as well as the MSU Moorhead women’s soccer team and a camp with the St. Paul Saints.
