Scott Felton of Innovative Office Solutions will be racing for something a little extra at this years Grandma’s Marathon, in Duluth Minnesota.  Scott has dedicated his run on June 21st to athlete, Nick Smallidge from Eagan, MN. At a young age, Nick grew a passion for the sport of hockey and has been playing ever since he was young. Sadly, he was recently diagnosed with bladder cancer at the young age of 19 years old; the youngest person his doctors have ever seen with this type of cancer.

When Scott heard Nick’s story, he came to the InSports Foundation with an idea to raise support for this driven young man.  Nick will be undergoing doctor visits for the next 10 years to monitor his condition. The InSports Foundation are excited to have Scott Felton “make a difference one step at a time.”  Let’s help support both Nick and Scott as the race for a cure. We will be asking for pledge amouts.

With each pledge amount you will also be given entry guesses to guess Scott’s time in the Marathon. The person with the closest time will win the new popular fitness gadget, the Fitbit Flex http://www.fitbit.com.

“Being healthy and fit seems to help me handle life's challenges with a more positive attitude.  I am fortunate to be working at a company that promotes this type lifestyle.  My hope is that others may be encouraged to find something that inspires them to be more active, to be healthier.” -Scott Felton

Hints to guessing Scott’s race time:

1.    To qualify for the Boston Marathon – Need a finish time of 3 hours 30 minutes or less.

2.    Scott’s best time – 3 hours 16 minutes

3.    Scott’s goal – under 3 hours

4.    This will be Scott’s 7th marathon
